Heart of Katong

Heart of Katong is the latest creation by Gazing Power Wash | SG Pressure Washing Art, an artist who uses nothing more than a pressure washer as his brush.

Instead of adding paint, he works by subtracting layers of dirt, etching patterns directly into the sidewalk. The result is a fleeting piece of art, born out of clean lines and contrast, waiting to be admired before it fades back into the everyday.

There’s something poetic about it: art that’s both public and impermanent, reminding us to pause, look down, and notice the small surprises that brighten our neighbourhood.
